The audience are informed and educated about The Hobbit through this front cover on Empire Magazine. The colour and size of the title enhances the importance of it and could relate to it's significance in the film. The red font can enforce the importance of those words and make them superior to the others, they are also considerably bigger than the others because they are titles and subtitles relating to the film. The front page showing pictures of characters is going to intrigue the viewers and make them more interested in wanting to watch the film, as they now already know a small fraction about it. The brief quote underneath the title saying 'Here come the elves, less wise... more dangerous!' This gives imagery to the audience and also gives away some of the events that will happen in the film. The magazine also publisizes itself by putting more films at the bottom of the poster as a strip, the famous and well known actors below would add excitement, these actors are 'Will Ferrell, Simon Pegg, and Alan Partridge, who are all extremely well know, making the readers want to purchase the magazine as it is an addition to 'The Hobbit'.
